Job Description
This role focuses on designing UI/UX for key game features and closely overseeing implementation to ensure a seamless, platform-optimized experience free of visual flaws.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute to brainstorming and ideation.
- Define the functional architecture and visual identity of game interfaces based on game functionality.
- Sketch and design wireframes in Figma for screens, menus, HUD, popups, and notifications.
- Create site maps and user flows in Figma for core features, including onboarding, tutorial flows.
- Support game designers in building interactive mockups & prototypes.
- Build and maintain a UI Style Guide and documentation for visual consistency.
- Collaborate with programmers to ensure smooth implementation of UI.
- Continuously evaluate and iterate designs through player feedback, playtests, journey maps reviews, and industry benchmarks to eliminate pain points and improve overall UX.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX Game Designer.
- Passion for video games, ideally mid-core or tycoon genres.
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and wireframe tools such as Figma, Miro.
- Strong grasp of graphic design fundamentals (color, typography, layout, composition, motion).
- Understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and ergonomics in gaming platforms.
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Advanced graphic design skills.
- Knowledge of various game platforms, design thinking, and emotional design.
- Background in Design/Fine Arts or related fields.
