Our Marketing teams conceptualise and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement. The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users. Our local marketing teams work closely with the regional teams to localise and adapt strategies to increase brand awareness and acquisition in each market. About the Team:
Currently nested under the Affiliates team, the KOL Branding & Engagement team is responsible for
- acquiring KOLs and KOCs to Shopee Affiliates program
- planning KOL & KOC initiatives to increase awareness of Shopee Affiliates program and encourage organic registrations
- creating meaningful interactions with KOLs to foster brand loyalty, strengthen relationships and drive business goals
- managing KOL/KOC communication touchpoints

Job Description:
1. Innovation & Trendspotting
- Research trending content formats and platform updates (e.g., TikTok, Shopee Video) to inspire new ideas.
- Contribute to internal creative initiatives, including themed content series, mini-campaigns, and KOL showcases.
2. Creative Campaign Execution
- Assist in end-to-end KOL/KOC campaign execution, including talent shortlisting, briefing preparation, and content coordination.
- Support the development of creative concepts tailored to campaign themes, seasonal moments, and trending formats for all workstreams (e.g., Acquisition to Social media Affiliate channel, both Online & Offline).
- Collaborate with agencies, KOLs, and internal teams to deliver campaign assets (e.g., captions, short-form videos, social posts) in line with brand guidelines.
3. Content Quality & Optimization
- Monitor production timelines and review submitted content (e.g., motion, video shooting, visuals...) from KOLs/KOCs.
- Support content optimization efforts across multiple platforms (e.g., out-app & in-app channels), adapting to different KOL profiles (e.g., students, lifestyle creators, reviewers).
4. Cross-Functional Support
- Provide creative input and execution support for various internal projects across different teams.
- Assist the team leader with other assigned tasks and cross-functional projects.
Requirements:
- Have a background study relevant to Marketing/Business
- Prior experience in influencer marketing, creative/content production, or affiliate programs is a plus.
- Strong creative mindset and trend awareness, especially for Gen Z and short-form video platforms.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills with KOLs, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to evaluate KOL content with both branding and performance lenses.
- Familiarity with content tracking tools (e.g. Sheets, Notion, Drive) to monitor progress and basic metrics.
- Proficiency in using basic creative tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut) is a bonus
- Understanding of content KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions...) is an advantage.
