Job Description
Role Summary:
Designs, develops, and maintains high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile applications for specific platforms (iOS, Android, or cross-platform). Focuses on mobile UI/UX, device capabilities, and integration with backend services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop robust and efficient mobile applications using native languages/frameworks (Swift/Kotlin) or cross-platform technologies (Flutter, React Native).
Implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces that adhere to platform-specific design guidelines (e.g., Material Design, Apple Human Interface Guidelines).
Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs (RESTful, GraphQL) for data retrieval and submission.
Work with device-specific features such as GPS, camera, notifications, sensors, and offline storage.
Optimize app performance, battery usage, and memory management.
Participate in the entire app lifecycle, including concept, design, build, test, deploy, and support (including app store submission processes).
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers.
Debug and troubleshoot mobile application issues.
Basic Requirements
Required Skills & Technologies:
Native iOS: Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, Cocoa Touch.
Native Android: Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, Android SDK.
Cross-Platform (Optional): Dart (Flutter), JavaScript/TypeScript (React Native), C# (Xamarin).
UI/UX: Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
API Integration: Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Version Control: Git.
Testing: Mobile unit and integration testing frameworks.
Performance Optimization: Knowledge of mobile performance best practices.
App Store Processes: Familiarity with Google Play Store and Apple App Store submission guidelines.
