Job Overview
This role is to support the HR and payroll operations of client companies on a global scale. The individual will assist HR and Payroll Managers in ensuring smooth and efficient operations while also contributing to the expansion of Marco Platform’s global payroll knowledge base. This will be a fully remote assignment with the option of being a Part-timer or Independent Contractor (if the individual meets the requirements).
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Perform monthly gross to net payroll calculations, declaration of social contributions and payroll taxes in utmost compliance to local law and regulations. Assist in annual personal income tax declaration.
2. Assist in managing client companies' HR and payroll operations in Vietnam.
3. Liaise with local vendors for HR, payroll, finance, and legal support in Vietnam.
4. Respond to customer inquiries via email, message, and call, covering topics such as overseas visa applications for employees, onboarding and offboarding processes, reimbursement procedures, and local employment policies.
5. Coordinate with relevant teams to follow up and resolve customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction with our solutions.
6. Collaborate with the company’s HR & Payroll Manager to document and expand the knowledge database for HR and payroll operations worldwide.
7. Adhere to global guidelines, comply with service processes, and improve service efficiency and convenience.
8. Be familiar with taxability of pay item allowances (e.g. travel and meal allowances) and other benefits.
Requirement
1. Diploma in Accountancy, Business Administration, HR or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years working experience in HR, payroll, or business administration.
3. MUST be familiar and have hands-on experience with the complete Vietnam payroll cycle – monthly payroll run, social contribution and payroll tax submissions, and annual personal income tax declaration.
4. Positive mindset, good communication and organization skills, and attention to detail.
5. English and Vietnamese language skills are ESSENTIAL to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Remuneration
USD 8 to USD 12 per hour (commensurate with experience and expertise)
VND 209,660 to VND 314,501 per hour
(based on maximum 40 hours per week, 4 weeks per month)
