Being the key contact person for a defined portfolio of suppliers regarding operating matters from PO placement to invoice receipt. Closely collaborate with a cross functional team locally and internationally to realize business opportunities and resolve issues.
Your responsibilities
- Be the key contact person for suppliers for purchase order management
- Bear the responsibility for the purchase to pay process, from PO placement, to processing of invoices and claims towards the supplier
- Closely collaborate with a cross functional team locally and internationally to realize business opportunities and support in resolving issues around on-time delivery, quality etc.
- Process and keep track of salesman sample, special make up- and leftover orders
- Keep track of current material stock and left-over stock at the supplier and create transparency in the organization
- Maintain supplier- and item master data in ERP system and other relevant tools
- Ensure the flow of relevant information towards upper management for fact based, in-time decision making
- Support the introduction of a new ERP and further supply chain digitalization solutions
Your profile
- Bachelor of Arts, training in purchase/garment or textile education background
- 5+ years of professional experience in Sourcing, Buying or Purchasing within the Outdoor or Sports industry
- Experience with European and Asian suppliers
- Experience in similar role for an outdoor / fashion company or experience as merchandise manager at a supplier in the industry
- Structured, organized and process orientated
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment and under pressure
- Provide clear input for fact-based decision making, paired with delivery orientation and pragmatism to ensure best possible product supply
- Open minded personality with the ability to translate new requirements in positive energy
- Fluent in English
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word), experience with OSCAR would be a plus
