At VidCruiter, our innovative approach to recruitment uses advanced technology to streamline and enhance the hiring process for companies across various industries.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and subject matter experts, to gather detailed information about technical features and system behavior.
Build and maintain a data dictionary, defining interface names, system terms, and model functions.
Manage and maintain a centralized knowledge base to support effective cross-team collaboration and seamless access to technical resources.
Expand feature requirements as needed.
Create and maintain a comprehensive technical documentation set that accurately explains how the product and its features work, updating it with every release or change.
Develop and maintain integration guides, ensuring each integration includes step-by-step instructions and is always up to date.
Create and manage a documentation strategy that enforces consistent tone, style, and formatting across all content types (internal docs, help center, release notes, etc.).
Write and approve product-related text, including UI labels, tooltips, error messages, and feature descriptions.
Expand and clarify feature requirements as needed, based on product meetings or developer feedback.
What We’re Looking For:
Relevant work experience or a College Diploma with coursework in Technical Writing, or an equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience creating software documentation, such as APIs, integration guides, or application manuals.
Strong understanding of code and functionality – familiarity with JavaScript, Ruby, Python, and JSON.
Hands-on experience with Confluence, building structured, easy-to-read documents. Other tools also considered.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and content management systems is a plus.
Documenting platform configuration settings, permissions, and feature toggles.
Comfortable reading JIRA tickets, participating in sprint reviews, or tracking QA logs.
Aligned with the basic BA skill set. (Analytical, Problem Solving, Communication, and Technical Skills).
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to independently conduct research.
