Job Description
We are looking for a highly capable Technical Writer who combines traditional documentation skills with the ability to utilize AI-powered tools to create intelligent, accessible, and dynamic documentation. You will serve as a cross-functional team member bridging engineering, product, QA, and business operations through concise, high-quality content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain product documentation, including but not limited to:
- Software and systems architecture
- API specifications and integration guides
- Functional and business requirements
- Sequence and flow diagrams (e.g., BPMN)
- User and administrator manuals
- Leverage AI-enhanced tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, Grammarly, Canva AI) to:
- Draft content efficiently and accurately
- Refine structure, clarity, and tone
- Auto-generate document summaries and stakeholder-friendly versions
- Translate technical language into user-centric formats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
- Capture detailed insights from developers, product managers, and business analysts
- Document newly released features, bug fixes, and APIs as part of product sprints
- Maintain and organize knowledge bases (e.g., Confluence, Notion)
- Develop visual content using modern tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io, Figma) for flowcharts, system diagrams, and onboarding illustrations
- Establish and enforce document version control practices
- Ensure up-to-date release documentation aligned with QA, Product, and UAT environments
- Support internal training, onboarding, and external presentation development
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); technical written French is a strong advantage
- 3+ years of experience in a technical writing role, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software
- Familiarity with business and system analysis concepts
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance documentation productivity and quality
- Ability to understand APIs, SDKs, integration protocols, and microservice architectures
- Experience managing documentation in Jira, Confluence, and Agile environments
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Desirable Skills
- Experience in fintech, payments, or mobile wallet domains
- Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, and developer collaboration tools
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and Postman
- Comfort working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to produce diagrams and visualizations for architecture, workflows, and product guides
- Prior experience using Git or documentation versioning systems
