The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
Job Description:
1. Product Listing and Compliance Management:
- Review and approve product listings to ensure adherence to size, quality, and product
nature guidelines.
- Monitor size, packaging standards, and product issues during the storage period.
- Lead the resolution of listing or inbound issues, coordinating with relevant teams to
implement timely and effective solutions.
2. Inventory and SKU Management:
- Conduct regular audits of product listing information during the inventory lifecycle to
maintain compliance with company standards.
- Oversee inactive SKU management, ensuring timely action to optimize SKU mix and
operational efficiency.
- Manage SKU segmentation strategies to streamline processes and improve assortment
performance.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Strategy Support:
- Partner with the Commercial team to refine assortment strategies that align with
network planning and business priorities.
- Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Business Development, and Warehouse teams to
ensure smooth execution of assortment plans.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication to keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and
changes.
4. Process Improvement and Strategic Initiatives:
- Analyze operational and commercial data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for
improvement.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency, reduce
errors, and increase business impact.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
to strengthen operational excellence.
- Support strategic framework proposals that align with the company’s long-term goals.
5. Additional Responsibilities:
- Perform tasks as delegated by the line manager to support team and company goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, E-commerce, or a related
field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in e-commerce operations, with a strong background in
assortment planning, product listing management, or catalog operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in product information and
listings.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to
influence and align stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
- Strategic thinking mindset with the ability to propose innovative and practical solutions.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently while contributing
effectively within a team.
