Job Description
· Act as a key liaison between sourcing, procurement, quality assurance, and product development teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration across departments.
· Lead vendor discovery, assessment, and onboarding processes to support sourcing initiatives effectively.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers who demonstrate ethical practices, uphold high-quality standards, commit to sustainable manufacturing, meet delivery deadlines, and offer competitive pricing.
· Identify and thoroughly evaluate manufacturing partners that align with the company’s core values and strategic goals.
· Monitor production schedules proactively, ensuring timely deliveries and taking prompt follow-up actions when necessary.
· Investigate and resolve quality issues raised by QA teams or factories, providing constructive feedback and effective solutions.
· Support onsite audits conducted by major CR customers such as Costco, Walmart, and Target to ensure compliance and quality standards.
· Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation and strategic growth.
· Perform additional duties assigned by the Sourcing Manager to support team objectives.
Expectations
· Working Time: Monday to Friday
· Working Location: Ho Chi Minh city, Binh Duong, or Hanoi, Vietnam
· Travel to vendors within Vietnam to conduct onsite assessment of capabilities. Possible travel to China to attend Canton Fair or other relevant trade shows.
· Must be available for weekly Teams calls with the US team either early morning or late evening.
Job Requirements
· 7+ years’ experience in textiles for garment/apparel/furniture company.
· 7+ years’ combined experience in sourcing & product development.
· Strong skills in communication, negotiation and problem solving, & time management
· Fluent in English communication.
· Experience/certification in QMS (e.g., ISO 9001) or CI (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
