Tax Assistant

Mô tả công việc:

• Main responsibilities will be to make sure together with the tax team that all tax-related compliance obligations. In this role, the assigned staff will also provide tax advice and strategies via suitable business models to internal customers and other relevant stakeholders.
• Supporting in tax compliance/reporting and initiating tax advisory work e.g. corporate income tax, value added tax, foreign contractor tax...
• Translating tax documents from Vietnamese to English and vice versa
• Support in tax admin work such as: doing the legalization/certification/notarization, submitting documents/correspondence to the tax authorities...
• Preparing documents/letters to tax authorities in case of petition or seeking further guidance
• Managing the tax filings, tax planner tool, proactively sending reminders to the tax team on pending tasks
• Checking data and documents and coordinating with internal and external partners
• Providing support and/or basic training on invoicing and tax-related topics as assigned under the instructions of the Tax & Customs Director and Tax Professional
• Contributing to the improvement of the efficiency of procedures
• Reading, analyzing, and highlighting to the tax team the impact of new laws & regulations
• Other tasks are discussed and assigned from time to time by the Tax & Customs Director

Yêu cầu bằng cấp (tối thiểu): Đại Học

Yêu cầu công việc:

• University degree in business/economics/Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Possessing 2 years or more experience as an (in-house/external) tax advisor
• Basic knowledge of accounting with an understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliation of accounts, and similar
• Having hands-on experience in the customs and logistics field would be an advantage
• Good understanding and knowledge of different IT systems such as Excel, knowing Power Query is a plus.
• Being fluent in English both in speech and writing
• Being able to coop with high workload in some cases
• Being able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Having sound critical thinking, good presentation, and problem-solving skills.
