WHAT WE NEED?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
- Microsoft or Cisco certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE).
- 4–5 years of experience in IT network administration or communications in medium to large organizations.
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial or IT project management role
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, server architecture, and infrastructure maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with VMWARE virtualization and cloud computing.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies, including protocols, RF, and optical ring topology.
- Working knowledge of database systems such as Oracle or SQL Server for troubleshooting and support.
- Good understanding of information and cyber security principles.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to guide and influence team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex issues logically.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive mindset with a client-focused approach to delivering IT solutions.
WHAT YOU DO?
Infrastructure Architecture, Strategy & Governance
- Develop and maintain the terminal-specific IT infrastructure architecture in alignment with CMIT’s IT strategy, corporate objectives, and global standards.
- Lead the design and implementation of IT infrastructure platforms that support current and future business needs.
- Manage architecture-related projects as Project Manager, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget compliance.
- Participate in the development and update of IT strategies, policies, standards, and procedures related to architecture and infrastructure.
- Evaluate emerging global and group-level technologies, providing recommendations for application in CMIT or other terminals/regions.
- Ensure transparency and proper documentation of proposed innovations through CMIT’s IT governance procedures (project initiation, registration, approval, implementation, and closure)
Infrastructure Operations & Service Delivery
- Ensure the highest availability and performance of all infrastructure services in accordance with SLAs established with business stakeholders.
- Oversee daily operations including incident resolution, service requests, change management, and technical support.
- Monitor and manage the performance and capacity of infrastructure components (servers, networks, internet, storage, virtualization platforms, etc.).
- Ensure readiness and performance of backup systems, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity (BC) plans.
- Maintain complete license compliance for all infrastructure-related software (OS, antivirus, backup tools, etc.) in accordance with Vietnamese law and internal audit standards.
- Support application service delivery and ensure infrastructure readiness for business growth and future initiatives.
- Proactively identify potential issues in business operations, recommend and implement relevant IT solutions.
Information Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain information and cyber security standards for all infrastructure components.
- Ensure infrastructure design and operations comply with internal policies (IT Security Policy, Company Policy, Staff Manual, Anti-Corruption Policy, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Vietnamese laws related to IT systems, licensing, and telecommunications.
- Enforce strict confidentiality of data, systems, and work-related information within the team and with external parties.
Budgeting & Cost Management the annual IT budgeting process and contribute to the planning and control of CAPEX and OPEX for infrastructure.
