AQUACULTURE BRAND MANAGER ASIA

The position will report to Director Marketing & Commercial Development Asia and functionally to Aquaculture Commercial Development Manager Asia.
The Aquaculture Brand Manager Asia shall increase the value of the Asia aquaculture brands such as Ocialis or Biosipec by developing the marketing plans and actions in order to meet the company objectives in Asia.

Main missions:

1. Marketing intelligence

  • Launch and update market studies to ensure permanent market knowledge (segmentation, trends, competition, customer needs and expectations) both at Asian regional level and support at subsidiaries level
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
  • Lead analysis and detection of market opportunities for the pet food segments in charge to propose innovation projects
  • Ensure carrying out of customer satisfaction surveys in the different subsidiaries
2. Operational Marketing
  • Define and manage the brand architecture at Regional level in coordination with Global marketing and with the Global brand owners when applicable to implement marketing actions according to the market and customer needs
  • Support the Asian commercial developers and the country marketing teams in the preparation and implementation of their Marketing Plan consistent with the brands strategy (positioning, price, distribution, and branding strategy…)
  • Coordinate and execute global brand communication plans to achieve the objectives of the brand and to ensure brand consistency
  • Develop the launch kit for new products and services (marketing and launch plan, operational marketing tools, launch actions proposals…)
  • Monitor the respect of the brands guidelines for all the communication materials at the point of sale to ensure correct communication to the customer
3. Monitor the annual media planning at Asian regional level in coordination with country pet food marketing teams
  • Coordinate aquaculture activity presence and image at the global Asia external exhibitions, trade fairs and seminars
  • Support country marketing teams in the operational marketing actions (commercial brochures and tools, launch of products, promotion, animation of Point of Sales, web, and social network presence, etc.)
  • Initiate and lead digital marketing activities and projects related to aqua business in Asia
  • Animate the Asia aqua marketing community

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

  • University Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Animal Science or Animal Nutrition. MBA or Marketing Master degree is a plus.
  • Marketing profile with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience in aquaculture business
  • Capacity to work in a matrix environment: multi-cultural and multi-countries.
  • Fluent English communication (spoken and written) is compulsory. A second Asian language such as Chinese will be a plus.
  • Strong relational skills and ability to work in team.
  • Project management skills.
  • High level of autonomy, proactive and source of proposals.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed
  • Reliable, customer oriented and proactive
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
  • Digital oriented.
