Our Marketing teams conceptualise and implement go-to-market activities to achieve increased usage and visibility. The Regional Marketing team is responsible for in-app campaign planning, product marketing, partnerships and content strategy to drive acquisition and engagement. The Regional Brand and Growth Marketing team covers all aspects of online and performance marketing, which involve tracking and measuring data to better reach our users. Our local marketing teams work closely with the regional teams to localise and adapt strategies to increase brand awareness and acquisition in each market. Job Description:
1. Lead the Insights-to-Strategy Engine
- Oversee a performance-driven team to uncover actionable insights from consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Convert data into strategic narratives to guide decision-making and business planning for ShopeePay app growth, payment volume and cross-product usage.
- Build a strong culture of data literacy and strategic thinking across the teams.
2. Develop and Execute Growth Strategies
- Translate insights into growth plans and execute plans with continuous improvements through A/B testing.
- Develop a holistic view about the business through understanding payment and financial services business as a whole to leverage all business levers.
- Work closely with the Product team to continuously enhance product features to support business growth.
3. Drive Key Strategic Initiatives
- Partner closely with senior leaders and regional counterparts on long-term priorities.
- Lead cross-functional Project Management Office (PMO) efforts to align stakeholders and deliver high-impact business initiatives across ShopeePay business lines including e-wallets, payment processing and credit.
4. Strengthen External Engagement and Partnerships
- Develop go-to-market strategies to attract and retain key merchants and partners.
- Collaborate with the business development and partnership teams to drive adoption and maximize impact across campaigns and co-branded initiatives.
5. Foster Cross-Functional and Cross-Entity Collaboration
- Ensure market insights are integrated across Product, Marketing, Operations, and other departments.
- Champion a data-informed culture, enabling more agile, evidence-based decisions at all levels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking.
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, business strategy, or analytics—preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or digital platforms.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, business models, and go-to-market dynamics.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and communicate effectively in a regional or global working environment.
- Detailed-oriented to identify and drive things for improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional projects and high-performance teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data tools.
