JOB SUMMARY/NHIỆM VỤ CHUNG
- The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent service to resort guests by preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized bar area, ensuring proper inventory management, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Bartender will also play an important role in upselling resort offerings, crafting signature cocktails, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES/TRÁCH NHIỆM CÔNG VIỆC
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, according to resort standards. Follow recipes and garnish drinks to create visually appealing presentations.
- Guest Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations on beverages, including signature cocktails and resort specials. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their resort experience.
- Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies such as glassware, garnishes, straws, napkins, and cocktail ingredients. Clean bar equipment and ensure that the bar area is always presentable.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and control bar inventory, including ordering stock as needed, tracking usage, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of alcohol, mixers, and other supplies. Report low stock or damaged items to the Bar Supervisor.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and credit transactions. Process guest payments, provide change, and issue receipts. Ensure all transactions are documented correctly and report discrepancies to management.
- Alcohol Service Compliance: Adhere to all legal and company requirements for alcohol service. Ensure that guests are not overserved, and that alcohol is served responsibly. Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Regularly clean bar surfaces, sinks, refrigerators, and glassware to maintain high hygiene standards. Disinfect and sanitize all bar equipment, including blenders, shakers, and pouring spouts.
- Upselling and Promotions: Actively promote resort signature drinks, specials, and other beverage offerings. Suggest additional items to guests in a polite and persuasive manner to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.
- Guest Interaction: Build rapport with guests, maintain a positive and professional attitude, and handle guest concerns or complaints in a timely and efficient manner. Provide personalized service to repeat guests or VIPs.
- Event and Banquet Support: Assist with beverage service for resort events, private parties, and banquets. Prepare drinks in accordance with event specifications and ensure timely delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Provide support to colleagues during busy times and assist in training new staff.

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
1. Educational Qualifications/ Trình độ học vấn
- Certification in Bartender or any related major.
2. Work Experience/ Kinh nghiệm làm việc
- Previous experience as a bartender in a resort, hotel, restaurant, or bar is preferred. Knowledge of a wide range of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink mixing techniques is essential.
- Strong understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails. Ability to create custom cocktails and offer beverage recommendations.
