CORE DUTY

The logistics Manager’s key responsibility is to be drive & contribute to logistics operations business strategies by working with Head of SCM SEA to grow & strengthen business by developing the logistics functions, optimizing 3PL productivity, performance & achieve costs KPIs

STRATEGY AND DEVELOPMENT

Assist the SCM Head on implementation of best practice logistics strategy, processes, and procedures to aid as well as to improve operation performance. Assist on audit & review warehouse KPI(s) productivity and development continuous improvement plans.

FOCUS SKILLS

• Acquiring knowledge on overall Inbound/Outbound Logistics Procedures
• Drives inbound shipment, on time arrival with the most cost-effective solution
• Drives outbound delivery, on time in full by managing 3PL productivity & KPI(s)
• Lead and provide guidance to logistics team members to achieve operations efficiency.
• Monitor & mentor team by providing training, guidance & coaching
• Grow the team by developing creative continuous improvement mindset
• Engage his/her team by motivating, organizing & encouraging teamwork
• Effectively communicating with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Negotiating contracts and rates with carriers and vendors
• Analyzing data and trends to improve logistics activities
• Monitoring and controlling inventory levels
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws
• Developing and implementing cost-saving strategies
• Perform any other roles & duties assigned which are deemed reasonable, practical and logical.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1 - Operational Management – 50%

• Update shipment Tracking status and share with internal stakeholders
• Participants in regional RFQ on quotation to ensure costs effective to the business
• Liaise with freight forwarders / Insurance companies for any claims reported by Inbound
• Regularly review SI (Shipping Instruction) with factories/freight agents as and when any new instructions are received regarding compliance, formulating policies and working procedures,
• Liaising with US on material compositions and ensuring all details are matching with shipping documents.
• Oversee TMS management by ensuring 3PL meets delivery schedules requested by the business and ensure products delivery to/from stores and distributors are on time on scheduled.
• Invoice verification accuracy refers to the precision and correctness of verifying invoices against 3PL, freight forwarders and other vendors

2 - Inventory Control and Planning Management – 40%

• Manage & ensure accurate inventory visibility to all stakeholders by managing 3PL cycle count & regular cadence snapshot comparison is performed.
• Prepare inbound/outbound forecast VS warehouses capacity according to forecast and Sale target from the internal stakeholders and ensure product launching date is met.
• Plan and coordinate warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound shipment and delivery, coordinate transportation operations, including master plan routing, and scheduling.
• Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop creative solutions to logistics challenges.
• Plan & control overall forecasting, Return Management, product launching Management
• Manage, coordinate & communicate forecast (capacity planning) with 3PL partner and business stakeholders in ensuring smooth Supply Chain support

3 - Report Management – 10%

• Timely submission of reports required for monitoring the logistics operations/ required by management
• Chair and coordinates weekly business review with internal logistics team members and 3PLs/freight agents & seek improvement.
• QBR preparation and presentation for internal and regional meetings

Yêu cầu công việc:

✓ Bachelor’s Degree holder in Supply Chain, Logistic Management or equivalent
✓ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with at least 3 years experience in managing a team in a dynamic and fast-paced MNC retail environment
✓ Self-motivated and able to manage multiple and complex tasks in a fast-paced and challenging environment
✓ Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
✓ Good oral and written communication
✓ Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✓ Strong bias for action and results-oriented
✓ Ability to prioritize and work proactively and independently
✓ English language proficiency & Proficiency with Microsoft Office
